A Note about Stefanie . . .
Stefanie has loved photography since receiving her first camera at the age of 10. Growing up in a family that traveled every summer, she took photo after photo, keeping her camera within easy reach. From the Grand Canyon in Arizona to barefoot waterskiing at Busch Gardens in Florida, to waterfalls in the Smoky Mountains, the camera was truly her friend.
Stefanie has a very simple belief: Beauty is everywhere, and in everyone – you just need to know how to look for it.
As a photographer for authors and speakers, Stefanie is able to draw on her creativity in designing and conceptualizing a personal photoshoot that reflects her client’s marketing message and resonates with the client’s audience. Stefanie was quoted in, Liz Goodgold’s book, How to Speak Gooder, “Today, a photo is more than just a basic headshot for your bio page. It’s about being the expert, the leader, the cool chick – the local celebrity. People want to be able to say, I know her!” And they do that when you appear so polished and professional that you take on a commercial edge with your image branding, and become a celebrated personality.”
Stefanie also spent many years working in child welfare, and witnessing teens and adult women who suffered from low self-esteem issues. She is very passionate about working with women who too often put themselves on the “back burner” while caring for everyone else in their life. Stefanie’s glamour and boudoir portrait sessions are an amazing experience for women who haven’t felt good about themselves in awhile, or maybe haven’t ever believed in their own inner beauty. A client recently left after such a session and said she would “float on the experience for months.”
In 2015, TRUE BLUE Woman was launched as a way for Stefanie to give back. TRUE BLUE Woman is an online membership community for women. There are regular articles written to empower women, and listings of women’s events. There are featured stories on Women Who WOW! – the game-changers that are out there doing good. Business women benefit from experts who share business tips to grow their business. Members even receive a monthly webinar or video, as well as a weekly recipe!
And the heart and soul of the site is the social good component – women are able to learn about non-profits and projects in their community that help other women, as well as places they can shop that give back to great causes, such as fighting human trafficking, providing maternal care, supporting fair trade, and more. The TRUE BLUE Woman is a woman of integrity, that strives to better herself, and improve the lives of others. If this resonates with you, please consider joining our community.
