Boho Chic Can’t Be Beat! | San Diego Photographer

Is there anything better than beachy waves and a little boho chic?  I didn’t think so! Abbey is a hairstylist, so it’s no wonder she rocks those locks! Abbey is such a natural.  I have a feeling she’s not a newbie to modeling.  These are great portfolio builders! Such a cute expression.  And her boho dress in aqua is a fun switch up from white, especially when photographing in the great outdoors. Save

Pretty as a Peacock! | San Diego Photographer

OMGoodness – I love this beautiful shot of Bianca!  Feminine, graceful, moody in a spring flower kind of way.  And on a beautiful day, enjoying nature.  I swear I get a little high after a photoshoot like this.  I clearly am not cut out for a cubicle! And Biance has a soul as warm as a summer breeze!  She is a joy! Although she can channel a little diva, when needed. 🙂 Another favorite.  Funny story about her dress.  I made it.  Yep, photographer, social media instructor, chef, and now  . . . seamstress?  Well almost.  I saw this fabric and had. to. have. it!  I mean – it has sequins that look like peacock feathers!  One of those little secrets in photography is binder clips, safety pins, and a few others things.  She wouldn’t be able to wear this dress in public without getting arrested, but it sure did the trick for this, one of my favorite photos of the day!   Save Save

Pretty in Purple! | San Diego Contemporary Glamour Photographer

Holy drama!  There’s the capture of what and who is in front of you.  And then I bring it home and play with it – I say it’s like having a coloring book.  It’s where the extra element of art is added, and I end up with what I envision at the moment the shutter clicked.  Science and art merged exquisitely! Just look at those eyes! Teeshie was such a sport letting me “fit” her with another handmade tulle creation.  I think I made about 8 tutus during this creative frenzy.  Luckily, Mr. Honey stands in as my at-home model when I need to check if the skirts are long enough. lol!  (don’t tell him I told you!)  And yes, my home looked like a tulle tornado had gone through it – for several weeks. TOTALLY WORTH IT! And then I found this purple magnolia silk flower.  So of course, I had to made that a wrist corsage – for effect.  It’s for art, people! 😉

Can’t Take the Country Out of the Girl! | San Diego Photography

Ok, seriously – how cute is this girl?  Gerrica is so much fun to work with, and she is a country girl at heart! Not exactly tip-toeing through the tulips – but you get the idea. 🙂 Setting sun in the hair, and a sizzly look. I’m not sure what type of grass this is, but it was amazing.  I imagine cute little deers laying in it when we were done. And a cute boot shot to wrap it up! Save Save Save
